Our senior dental nurse, Ali, came to us with a background in teaching dental nursing, and working with specialists in both practice and hospital setting. Ali has qualifications in dental radiography, dental sedation nursing and teaching dental nursing. She is responsible for in-house staff training, stock control and health and safety, so she’s kept very busy! Ali sings beautifully and can be heard in her church praise team. Although from Scotland, Ali has family locally.

Katherine works chair-side as a qualified dental nurse assisting Alan. As a qualified Oral Health Educator, Katherine plays a major role in our childrens’ fundays. She offers advice to both parents and children on how to maintain optimum oral health through diet choices and brushing techniques. She hopes to pursue a career as a dental hygienist in the future.

Marie is a very experienced dental nurse working primarily along side Laura. Along with her dental nursing qualification she also is trained and qualified in dental radiography and sedation nursing. She is also a trained treatment coordinator with a special interest in assisting implant patients. She is experienced in a complete range of dental care from implant and other cosmetic procedures in private practice to the special needs adults and children cared for in the community dental service. Marie has two sons and is heavily involved with the community group in Cloughmills.

Lynne is also a qualified dental nurse who works with us on a part time basis. She is usually found working alongside our hygienists, but can step into a reception role as the need arises making her a very versatile team member. Her attention to detail in everything she does is legendary. In her days off she spends time with her husband Neil and young daughter Naomi.

Jayne first came to us as a work experience school girl . Time passes and now she is also a qualified dental nurse and a working mum to Emma. Jayne has worked in various roles within the team but is now well settled assisting Rian. She is the youngest team member but since she came to the practice straight from school in 2006 she knows the job and the people inside out.
